Feds make 25 more arrests in anti-ICE Minnesota church invasion

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that 25 more arrests had been made in connection with the storming of Cities Church by anti-U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agitators last month.

"Today, [the Justice Department] unsealed an indictment charging 30 more people who took part in the attack on Cities Church in Minnesota," Bondi wrote on X. "At my direction, federal agents have already arrested 25 of them, with more to come throughout the day."

"YOU CANNOT ATTACK A HOUSE OF WORSHIP. If you do so, you cannot hide from us — we will find you, arrest you, and prosecute you. This Department of Justice STANDS for Christians and all Americans of faith," she added.

PASTOR SPEAKS OUT ON HARROWING CHURCH INVASION THAT SENT CONGREGANTS FLEEING IN TERROR

Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Director Kash Patel said that the arrests showed that the bureau would not tolerate people carrying out attacks against those worshiping peacefully.

"Today’s FACE Act arrests with our federal partners show this FBI will never tolerate those who target, attack, or intimidate Americans peacefully exercising their right to worship freely," Patel said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

"To date, 39 individuals have been indicted over their role in the January 18th targeting on Cities Church — with multiple arrests already occurring last month including Don Lemon. Thanks to our FBI Minneapolis team for their tremendous work, as well as great HSI partners and Attorney General Bondi’s DOJ for their relentless pursuit of justice," Patel added.

In the indictment, which was unsealed on Friday, it is alleged that the agitators took part "in a coordinated takeover-style attack and engaged in acts of oppression, intimidation, threats, interference, and physical obstruction."

"As a result of [the] defendants’ conduct, the pastor and congregation were forced to terminate the church’s worship service, congregants fled the church building out of fear for their safety, other congregants took steps to implement an emergency plan, and young children were left to wonder, as one child put it, if their parents were going to die," the indictment reads.

DON LEMON FORMALLY ARRAIGNED, PLEADS NOT GUILTY ON CHARGES STEMMING FROM VIRAL MINNESOTA CHURCH STORMING

The defendants were identified in the indictment as Nekima Valdez Levy Armstrong, Chauntyll Louisa Allen, William Scott Kelly, Don Renaldo Lemon, Jerome Deangelo Richardson, Jamael Lydell Lundy, Trahern Jeen Crews, Georgia Ellyse Fort, Ian Davis Austin, Aziza Mohammed Aboud, Max Richard Adamson, Michael Walker Beute, Ezra Chaim Pye Blumenfeld, Shane Ryan Bollman, Kelly Ann Carey, Monique Cassandra Cullars-Doty, Tiffany Lynn Dunlap, Andrew Jared Edwards, Rachel Rose Goligoski, Amelia Cristin Hansa, Ariel Hauptman, Krista Erin Hogan, Heather Danielle Lewis, Danielle Andrea Matthias, Catie Anne Michaelson, Eric Ryan Michaelson, David Anthony Okar, Jarmel James Perry, Cheryl Ann Persigehl, Emmar Monike Pineda-Moreno , Spencer Michael Rodriguez-Bocanegra, Katherine Elizabeth Shaw, Satara Diann Strong Allen, Charles Lee Swenson, Robyn Elise Swenson, Thomas Matthew Tier, Lee Elizabeth Wiedeman Tuggle, John Donald Vergin and Mark David Weinfurter.

The indictment alleges that the group "conspired and agreed with one another to oppress, threaten, and intimidate multiple persons, including the clergy, staff, and congregants of the Cities Church."

The indictment states that Armstrong, Allen, Strong and Cullars-Doty, along with others, "organized" the disruption, which they dubbed "Operation Pullup." They allegedly promoted it through Instagram and Facebook. The defendants allegedly met at a shopping center prior to the church disruption to coordinate it, the indictment says.

"Once at the Church, all of the defendants entered the Church to conduct a takeover-style attack and engaged in various acts in furtherance of the conspiracy," the indictment reads.

The defendants are also accused of "aiding and abetting one another, by use of force, threat of force, and physical obstruction, intentionally injured, intimidated, and interfered with, and attempted to injure, intimidate, and interfere with multiple persons" who were merely trying to worship.

On Jan. 18, several anti-ICE agitators stormed Cities Church to protest federal immigration enforcement operations in Minneapolis. The agitators were heard in videos chanting "Justice for Renee Good," referencing the fatal shooting of the 37-year-old at the hands of federal agents.

The Trump administration quickly took action and launched a probe into the matter, saying the incident was a violation of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. Several arrests have been made since the federal probe was opened.

The highest profile arrest was former CNN anchor Don Lemon, who allegedly followed the agitators into the church and spoke with the pastor. Lemon appeared to be speaking to Cities Church lead pastor Jonathan Parnell, as per an image on the church's website.

"This is unacceptable, it's shameful. It's shameful to interrupt a public gathering of Christians in worship," the pastor said when Lemon asked for his reaction to the crowd storming the church. "I have to take care of my flock."

Lemon was charged with conspiracy to deprive religious freedom rights and a violation of the FACE Act. He was arraigned on Feb. 13 and pleaded not guilty.

Fox News Digital reached out to HSI and the DOJ for comment.

Padres pitcher could miss Opening Day after undergoing hemorrhoid surgery

San Diego Padres pitcher Matt Waldron could begin the season on the injured list after being hospitalized for several days and undergoing hemorrhoid surgery to deal with an infection, manager Craig Stammen told reporters Tuesday.

Stammen said the 29-year-old pitcher will hopefully get discharged soon, but that will depend on the heeling process.

"Had an infection in his rear end and had to have surgery to drain it and make it better," Stammen said, via San Diego Union-Tribune. "… He’ll be out week to week, depending on how that incision heals and how he’s feeling moving around."

Stammen said that Waldron was in such a good spot prior to the injury, and that in his lone spring training start his velocity was up and that his knuckleball was working. In that start, he pitched two scoreless innings and struck out two hitters.

PIRATES ACE PAUL SKENES REVEALS PATRIOTIC REASON FOR REPRESENTING TEAM USA IN THE WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC

Waldron, an 18th-round pick in the 2019 MLB Draft, made one big league appearance in 2025, pitching 4.2 innings while giving up four earned runs, striking out three hitters and walking six batters. In Triple-A last season, he had a 6.67 ERA across 18 starts and 82.1 innings.

Waldron has appeared in 36 games across three seasons, all with the Padres. He has an 8-15 record with a 4.86 ERA in 192.2 career major league innings.

With Waldron out, pitchers Randy Vasquez, Walker Buehler, German Marquez, JP Sears, Triston McKenzie and Marco Gonzales are left to compete for the last two spots in the Padres’ starting rotation.

Witkoff warns Iran is ‘a week away’ from 'bomb-making material' as Trump weighs action

Special Envoy Steve Witkoff warned Saturday that Iran could be "a week away" from having "industrial-grade bomb-making material," raising urgent questions about what President Donald Trump could do next to address the looming threat.

"It’s up to 60%," Witkoff said of Iran’s enrichment level. "They’re probably a week away from having industrial-grade bomb-making material."

The "dangerous" proposition, Witkoff said on "My View with Lara Trump," comes despite Trump’s "zero enrichment" red line, which he accused Iran of violating "well beyond" what a civil nuclear program requires.

"We can't have that," he said. "This is something that they have to stick with until they prove to us that they can behave."

TRUMP WARNS IRAN, DELAYS STRIKES AS RED LINE DEBATE ECHOES OBAMA’S SYRIA MOMENT

Witkoff told Fox News that the president is "curious" why Iran has not shifted course despite mounting U.S. pressure in the region.

"With the amount of sea power, naval power that we have over there, why they haven't come to us and said, 'We profess that we don't want a weapon?'"

But external pressures are only part of the picture. The Islamic regime faces additional pressures from its own civilians, prompting unrest and state-driven aggression against protesters.

TRUMP GIVES IRAN 10-DAY ULTIMATUM, BUT EXPERTS SIGNAL TALKS MAY BE BUYING TIME FOR STRIKE

Exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, who has discussed the proposition of Iranian regime change on multiple occasions, has previously expressed faith in Trump's ability and willingness to help topple the regime.

Pahlavi has outlined a series of measures the U.S. could take to weaken the ayatollah, including neutralizing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), cracking down on "ghost tankers" that secretly transport sanctioned oil and fund the regime, expelling diplomats or holding them accountable for criminal behavior, freezing oligarchs’ assets, supporting protesters with internet access and calling for the unconditional release of all political prisoners in Iran.

Witkoff told Lara Trump he met with Pahlavi at the president's direction.

"I think he's strong for his country, cares about his country, but this is going to be about President Trump's policies, not Mr. Pahlavi's policies," he said.

"I think the president is interested in hearing everyone's views. He has no pride of authorship [which] is maybe the best way for me to say it, which I greatly respect because he's open to new ideas and new ways of thinking."

Mamdani promotes NYC where 'every family can afford a home,' rips ICE's 'cruelty' amid budget blowback

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani promoted a Big Apple "where every family can afford a home" and ripped "ICE’s cruelty and violence" Saturday as he faces criticism for proposing hiking property taxes to balance the city’s budget.

Mamdani made the remarks while paying tribute to the late Rev. Jesse Jackson at an event hosted by Al Sharpton’s National Action Network.

"When New Yorkers link arms with someone they have never met before and marched for the voiceless and the downtrodden, hope is alive. When New Yorkers sacrifice their precious free time in a city where every child can have the education that they deserve, where every family can afford a home in the stability that it holds, where our criminal justice system is fair and our economy is just, when New Yorkers link arms in the fight for those things, hope is alive," Mamdani said.

"Hope is the light. And we know this, that while Reverend Jackson may not be with us any longer, his purpose has not dimmed, his clarity has not faded. As we work every day towards a New York that delivers dignity for all, towards a nation that rejects ICE’s cruelty and violence, towards the stranger among us, and towards a society where compassion is not a rarity, where solidarity is not abstract, let the reverend’s words be our guide," he added.

NYC RESIDENTS SAY MAMDANI RENEGING ON AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROMISE WITH PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX HIKE

During a news conference on Tuesday, Mamdani called on New York Gov. Kathy Hochul and state lawmakers in Albany to raise income taxes on the "ultra-wealthy and the most profitable corporations" to help close the city's budget gap.

If they do not, Mamdani warned about "painful decisions of last resort" that include a potential 9.5% property tax increase.

MAMDANI TELLS ‘THE VIEW’ HE FAVORS ABOLISHING ICE

This increase would affect approximately 3 million homes across working and middle-class New Yorkers.

Some New York City residents now argue that Mamdani is reneging on his affordable housing campaign promises by floating potentially hiking property taxes.

"You are giving only two options. You're saying if we don't tax the rich then I gotta increase property taxes," one Queen homeowner, James Johnson, reportedly told WABC. "We are not a pawn in Southeast Queens. We are not part of your negotiation tactics."

Mamdani admitted that middle class New Yorkers would bear the brunt of his proposal.

"This would effectively be a tax on working and middle class New Yorkers, who have a median income of $122,000," Mamdani said.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's former home still swarming with police following arrest over Epstein ties

Police continued to search Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's former home Friday after his arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office the day before, Fox News Digital can confirm.

Photographs showed police outside of Royal Lodge on Friday morning, Andrew's former home in Berkshire. The Thames Valley Police confirmed the search of the former prince's current home – Wood Farm – concluded Thursday.

The search of Andrew's 30-room former home in the parkland near Windsor Castle, where the king's younger brother had lived for decades until his eviction earlier this month, will reportedly continue through Monday, according to the BBC. Unmarked vans, believed to be police vehicles, have been entering the grounds throughout Friday morning.

EX-PRINCE ANDREW RELEASED FROM POLICE CUSTODY HOURS AFTER ARREST

Andrew was photographed arriving home to Sandringham Estate Thursday after spending roughly 10 hours in police custody.

The former prince could be seen in the backseat of a car as he arrived at Wood Farm, where he has been temporarily staying after being kicked out of the Royal Lodge.

Authorities arrested Andrew on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He has been accused of sharing confidential trade info with Jeffrey Epstein. Emails released by the Department of Justice (DOJ) as part of the Epstein files appeared to show former Prince Andrew sharing reports of official trade visits with the disgraced financier. One email showed Andrew sent Epstein the information five minutes after he received it.

Other police forces in the U.K. are also conducting their own investigations into Andrew's ties to Epstein. The Metropolitan Police is investigating allegations London airports may have been used to facilitate human trafficking and sexual exploitation. "Separately, the Met is identifying and contacting former and serving officers who may have worked closely, in a protection capacity, with Andrew Mountbatten‑Windsor," the Metropolitan Police said in a statement obtained by Fox News Digital.

"They have been asked to consider carefully whether anything they saw or heard during that period of service may be relevant to our ongoing reviews and to share any information that could assist us," the statement continued.

The Metropolitan Police added: "While we are aware of the extensive media reporting and commentary about this matter, as of today, no new criminal allegations have been made to the Met regarding sexual offences said to have occurred within our jurisdiction. We continue to urge anyone with new or relevant information to come forward. All allegations will be taken seriously and, as with any matter, any information received will be assessed and investigated where appropriate."

Royal commentator Meredith Constant told Fox News Digital she believes Andrew allegedly sending Epstein confidential documents "only scratches the surface."

Constant said the former prince’s conduct as U.K. trade envoy has been "a topic of concern for years now."

"I have a feeling sending confidential documents to Jeffrey Epstein only scratches the surface," Constant said. "It is past time for the U.K. Government to release files they've kept hidden from the public about Andrew's time in public office."

WATCH: ROYAL EXPERT DISCUSSES KING CHARLES' POTENTIAL ABDICATION DUE TO ANDREW SCANDAL

The exiled royal's connection to Epstein eventually led to his arrest on his 66th birthday. Andrew allegedly sent confidential trade reports to Epstein in 2010. At the time, he was serving as Britain’s special envoy for international trade.

Specifically, emails released as part of the Epstein files appeared to show Andrew sharing reports of official visits to Hong Kong, Vietnam and Singapore.

One email, dated November 2010, appeared to be forwarded by Andrew five minutes after he had been sent it. In another, on Christmas Eve 2010, he appeared to send Epstein a confidential brief on investment opportunities in the reconstruction of Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

Shut out of Valentine's Day dinner reservations? Last-minute alternatives save the day

For couples who waited too long to book a Valentine's Day dinner reservation, the scramble is on — but luckily, experts say it might not be too late to make the holiday special.

Dining out remains one of the most popular ways Americans celebrate Valentine’s Day. At least 21% plan to go out for a meal, whether they’re in a relationship or not, according to a new YouGov survey. Among couples, that number rises to 32%. But with more than half of partnered Americans planning to celebrate in some way, competition for tables can be fierce.

"Unfortunately, a lot of people learn a little too late that Valentine's Day dinner reservations start filling up as early as mid-January and sometimes even sooner," said Jason Lee, who, together with his wife, founded LoveTrack, an app that offers features like a date night planner, conversation prompts for couples and anniversary and birthday reminders.

RETRO VALENTINE'S DAY CANDY IS BACK — HERE'S WHAT IT SAYS ABOUT MODERN LOVE

But missing out on a restaurant booking doesn’t have to mean missing out on romance.

"There are ways to still have a meaningful date night that may actually offer more connection, at a much lower price point, and you can pull it all together last-minute," Lee said.

Dining out is significantly more expensive than it was just a few years ago. The cost of eating out rose at more than double its previous pace between 2021 and 2024, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics data cited in LoveTrack's 2025 Date Night Inflation Report.

TEST YOURSELF WITH OUR LATEST LIFESTYLE QUIZ

"Going out to a restaurant for a steak dinner is great," Lee, who is based in Orlando, Florida, said. "But imagine your special someone walking into your dining room with the lights dimmed, romantic music playing, a cute menu printed out and your best effort at a home-cooked meal."

He added, "The effort and little details like rolling the silverware in a napkin, or curating a playlist of their favorite romantic songs will always surpass even the most expensive of restaurant experiences."

A Time Capsule Date Night is a LoveTrack favorite, Lee said, and calls for gathering meaningful mementos, writing notes to each other and collecting keepsakes, then sealing it to open together on a future Valentine’s Day.

For busy parents or couples juggling packed schedules, a last-minute plan may feel both more realistic and more authentic, said Megan Chandler Lee, a South Carolina–based wedding planner and founder of Vero Events, who has no relation to Jason Lee.

"When you have kids and busy lives, it’s really hard to schedule a Valentine’s Day date," she said. "What makes it impactful is making it tailored to you as a couple. Takeout and a new series or movie are ideal for a busy set of parents."

Alternatives to the traditional dinner date can also get couples moving — and connecting.

"Live somewhere warmer? Golf or pickleball would be ideal," Chandler Lee said. "Doing something active together is incredibly bonding."

For colder climates, she suggests indoor options like Topgolf or even a simple coffee walk. "It’s not necessarily about spending money, but about spending time," she said.

The pressure to produce an Instagram-worthy evening may be part of what fuels Valentine’s stress. About 26% of Americans say they’ve been disappointed by a partner not doing enough to celebrate the holiday, with women three times as likely as men to report that disappointment, according to YouGov.

"I think most people feel that romance is more impactful when it’s not Instagram-worthy," Chandler Lee said. "Don’t turn yourself inside out to show the world you’re in love. Just enjoy one another however that fits your life."

Trump admin rips Mamdani, local Dems as activists override gov't move at NYC monument: 'Focused on theatrics'

A battle between elected Democrat officials and the Trump administration is developing in New York City involving a Pride flag being flown at a government monument outside the historic Stonewall Inn.

Earlier this week, the Trump administration removed a Pride flag from the national monument outside the Stonewall Inn, the site of a clash between police and patrons of a gay bar seen by many as the start of the gay rights movement in the 1960s, in a move it says is in accordance with decades-old federal code.

The administration says that only the American flag, Department of the Interior flag, or POW flags are permitted to fly on national monuments rather than political flags, and Pride flags have continued to be displayed around the monument at the Stonewall Inn itself, located nearby.

The move sparked outrage from activists and Democrat leaders in New York City, including the city’s socialist mayor, Zohran Mamdani, who posted on X that he was "outraged" and "our city has a duty not just to honor this legacy, but to live up to it."

MAMDANI’S ANTISEMITISM CZAR ONCE SLAMMED POST CONDEMNING HAMAS TERROR ATTACKS

On Thursday, hundreds of protesters watched as local officials re-raised the Pride flag at the national monument, Fox 5 New York reported, prompting a scathing response from the Department of the Interior, which manages the country’s national parks.

"Instead of addressing the basic needs of their constituents, city leaders seem more focused on theatrics than solutions," a Department of Interior spokesperson told Fox News Digital. "Residents are left wondering why their elected officials are prioritizing headlines over heating. Every day that these issues go unresolved is another day families are forced to live with the consequences of mismanagement and neglect."

"Hundreds of families in New York City went without power during this year’s severe cold weather, people are being found dead on the streets, and trash has piled up so high it towers over city residents. This is Mayor Mamdani and city officials' New York City. While today's political stunt is a distraction from their recent deadly failures, it would be a better use of their time to get the trash buildup off city streets, ensure there are no more avoidable deaths, and work to keep the power on for the people of New York City."

HOUSE GOP LEADER RIPS 'SOCIALIST' ZOHRAN MAMDANI AFTER 18 PEOPLE FREEZE TO DEATH IN NYC

Fox News Digital reached out to Mamdani’s office for comment.

The Department of the Interior maintains that recent adjustments to flag displays at the monument are part of "longstanding federal flag policy" and to ensure "consistency with federal guidance."

"Stonewall National Monument remains committed to preserving and interpreting the history and significance of this site through its exhibits, programs, and educational initiatives."

A source familiar with the situation tells Fox News Digital that an American flag was previously not displayed at the monument and park officials had to purchase one in order to be compliant with the U.S. Code.

The source explained that this issue is not specifically targeted at the Stonewall Monument but rather part of broader concerns about the politicization of national monuments carried out by what are known as "Resistance Rangers," employees who are openly working against the Trump administration from the inside.

A report from Outside Magazine last fall highlighted an upside-down American flag being displayed on Yosemite National Park’s famed El Capitan cliff and similar incidents at other national parks as part of a campaign by fired National Park Service employees, activists, and the group of anonymous employees within the National Park Service calling themselves the "Resistance Rangers."

President Barack Obama established the Stonewall National Monument on June 24, 2016, designating the area around the Stonewall Inn in New York City as a protected historic site. The move marked the first time a U.S. national monument was dedicated to LGBTQ history.

Advanced video equipment seen at Nancy Guthrie home as experts break down its possible role

TUCSON, Ariz. — A forensic tent that briefly covered the front porch of Nancy Guthrie’s home, where blood was previously found, has now been removed, but new questions are emerging about the high-tech equipment investigators were seen bringing inside.

Former NYPD homicide supervisor Joe Cardinale told Fox News Digital that the removal likely means investigators "finished what they were there to do" at that specific location.

Cardinale explained that tents are used to shield investigative activity from public view.

"By putting that tent up, you block the view," Cardinale said. "They don’t want the perp knowing what they’re looking for."

NPR HOST COMPARES MASKED GUTHRIE SUSPECT TO 'FEDERAL IMMIGRATION AGENT'

Former FBI Supervisory Special Agent Jason Pack said there is also a legal consideration when scenes are shielded from public view.

"You don’t want defense attorneys down the road arguing the scene was compromised because the whole world was watching," Pack said.

Observers also noted a piece of professional video equipment being brought into the home that appears to be a Blackmagic Design UltraStudio 4K Mini, a device commonly used in television production.

NANCY GUTHRIE CASE: ALL OF THE PROPERTIES SEARCHED BY AUTHORITIES SINCE DISAPPEARANCE

Tech expert Kurt "CyberGuy" Knutsson explained that the UltraStudio 4K Mini is designed to capture and convert high-resolution video and audio across multiple formats.

"It’s a professional-grade tool often used in broadcast environments," Knutsson said. "It allows you to ingest video from various sources and convert it into high-quality digital formats for analysis or sharing."

The device supports SDI inputs used in professional television production, HDMI connections and Thunderbolt 3 via USB-C to connect to Mac or PC systems. Some versions also allow capture from SD cards.

POSSIBLE TATTOO SEEN IN NANCY GUTHRIE VIDEO MAY HELP ID SUBJECT, FORMER PROFILER SAYS

Knutsson said the device could potentially be used to transfer video or audio from different formats into standardized digital files.

"It could be a way investigators are capturing video from older formats and converting it into high-quality digital files for preservation or further analysis," he said.

Pack has said investigators may be conducting detailed forensic video analysis tied to the porch area.

"It’s possible they’re taking precise measurements of the archway, the bricks, the stones and other fixed structures," Pack said, noting that those measurements could allow analysts to calculate a more accurate height estimate of the suspect seen in doorbell footage.

"Either way, it tells us the forensic work on that video is active and ongoing," Pack added.

Authorities have not publicly confirmed what specific evidence is being processed or whether the equipment is tied to any particular piece of media.

Guthrie’s family members say she was dropped off at home between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31. Her garage door closed at 9:50 p.m., according to authorities.

At 1:47 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1, authorities say the doorbell camera at Guthrie’s home disconnected, followed by a security camera detecting motion at 2:12 a.m. Her pacemaker disconnected from an application on her phone at 2:28 a.m.

Family members checked on Guthrie at 11:56 a.m. after she reportedly did not attend a weekly gathering where she normally watched a livestreamed church service.

Authorities were called and arrived at her home shortly thereafter.

Former lingerie mogul faces lawmaker questioning after FBI internal memo calls him Epstein co-conspirator

Lawmakers on the House Oversight Committee will question billionaire businessman Les Wexner Feb. 18 at 10 a.m. over his connections to Jeffrey Epstein, a source familiar with the committee’s work confirmed to Fox News Digital.

Wexner will answer questions from Ohio, where he is a resident.

Lawmakers from across both parties have demanded increased scrutiny of Wexner, the former CEO of L Brands, the parent company of Victoria’s Secret, for his association with Epstein unearthed among the 3 million files recently released by the Department of Justice (DOJ) in compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act signed in 2025.

LONDON POLICE LAUNCH CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION INTO FORMER UK AMBASSADOR TO US WITH ALLEGED EPSTEIN TIES

Although Wexner’s business connections with Epstein are well-documented, new files reveal authorities had internally considered Wexner an accessory to Epstein’s crimes.

Wexner was one of Epstein's largest and earliest clients, having brought on Epstein's consulting and financial advising services for his companies, according to Wexner and financial statements. In addition to Victoria's Secret, L Brands also included companies like Abercrombie & Fitch and Bath & Body Works.

In one FBI memo dated Aug. 15, 2019 — five days after Epstein killed himself in prison — the bureau listed Wexner as a "co-conspirator" alongside Ghislaine Maxwell and five others. At the time of his death, Epstein was charged with sex trafficking minors.

According to Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., the DOJ had redacted some mentions of Wexner's name until pressed about why they hadn’t been made public.

"The DOJ has been redacting alleged Epstein billionaire co-conspirator Les Wexner’s identity," Garcia said in a post to X.

"That’s why Oversight Democrats forced a subpoena for him to testify," Garcia said. "He will answer our questions under oath next week."

LAWMAKERS ESCALATE EPSTEIN PROBE WITH POSSIBLE BILL GATES SUBPOENA

Despite lengthy probes into Epstein, his sex-trafficking crimes and his associates, lawmakers remain frustrated that the DOJ has yet to press charges against any figures listed in the Epstein files.

Until that happens, members like Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., have said lawmakers’ calls for transparency into Epstein’s crimes remain unfulfilled.

Massie noted that mention in the files doesn’t, on its own, implicate wrongdoing, but added the context for Wexner should raise special concern.

DEMOCRATS SAY CLINTONS' AGREEMENT TO TESTIFY UNDERCUTS SUBPOENA PUSH, WON'T BRING NEW EPSTEIN ANSWERS

"Appearing in the Epstein files does not prove guilt, but Leslie Wexner was designated as a co-conspirator of Epstein for ‘child sex trafficking," Massie wrote in a social media post Tuesday.

The Wexner Foundation did not immediately respond to a request for comment on whether Wexner intended to answer lawmakers’ questions or if he would invoke his Fifth Amendment rights.

Vance: US should get 'some benefit' from Greenland if it's going to be 'on the hook' for protecting territory

Vice President JD Vance said Tuesday that the United States should get "some benefit" from Greenland if it’s going to "be on the hook for protecting this massive landmass."

Vance told reporters in Armenia that, "it's very early in the Greenland talks," amid the Trump administration's push to acquire the Danish territory.

"We've been working quite a bit on this over the last few weeks, but it's just very simple. Greenland is very important to the national security of the United States of America," Vance added.

"I do think that some of our allies have under-invested in Arctic security, and if we're going to invest in Arctic security, if we're basically going to pay a lot of money and be on the hook for protecting this massive landmass, I think it's only reasonable for the United States to get some benefit out of that, and that's going to be the focus of the negotiations here over the next few months," Vance said.

RUSSIA, CHINA SQUEEZE US ARCTIC DEFENSE ZONE AS TRUMP EYES GREENLAND

President Donald Trump said in mid-January that the U.S. needs Greenland "for the purpose of national security."

"It is vital for the Golden Dome that we are building. NATO should be leading the way for us to get it. IF WE DON’T, RUSSIA OR CHINA WILL, AND THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!" Trump said at the time.

A week later, Trump said, "Based upon a very productive meeting that I have had with the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, we have formed the framework of a future deal with respect to Greenland and, in fact, the entire Arctic Region."

NATO CHIEF WARNS EUROPE CAN’T DEFEND ITSELF WITHOUT US AS TENSIONS RISE OVER GREENLAND

"This solution, if consummated, will be a great one for the United States of America, and all NATO Nations," the president said on Truth Social.

However, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen then insisted that Denmark would not negotiate on its sovereignty despite Trump announcing the "framework" of a deal.

"Security in the Arctic is a matter for the entire NATO alliance. Therefore, it is good and natural that it is also discussed between NATO's Secretary General and the President of the United States. The Kingdom of Denmark has long worked for NATO to increase its engagement in the Arctic," Frederiksen noted in a statement, which was written in Danish.

"We have been in close dialogue with NATO and I have spoken to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on an ongoing basis, including both before and after his meeting with President Trump in Davos. NATO is fully aware of the position of the Kingdom of Denmark. We can negotiate on everything political; security, investments, economy. But we cannot negotiate on our sovereignty," she asserted.

Greenlandic Foreign Minister Vivian Motzfeldt said earlier this month that, "We are pursuing a diplomatic solution through negotiations" with the U.S. and that she is "hopeful and optimistic that we will find common ground that respect our red lines," according to Reuters.

American Olympian taking social media breather over 'hate' after Trump criticism

American Olympic figure skater Amber Glenn said Saturday she will limit her social media intake after she said she received "hate."

Glenn was critical of the Trump administration in a pre-Olympics press conference earlier in the week, saying it had been a "hard time" for her and members of the LGBT community. It was one of a handful of political remarks U.S. athletes made in the lead-up to the Winter Games.

She received criticism for the remarks, but wrote on her Instagram Stories that the comments she received crossed the line.

"When I chose to utilize one of the amazing things about the United States of America (Freedom of speech) to convey how I feel as an athlete competing for Team USA in a troubling time for many Americans, I am now receiving a scary amount of hate/threats for simply using my voice WHEN ASKED about how I feel," she wrote in a since-expired post.

TRUMP BLASTS OLYMPIAN OVER COMMENTS ABOUT REPRESENTING US

"I did anticipate this but I am disappointed by it. I will be limiting my time on social media for my own wellbeing for now but I will never stop using my voice for what I believe in."

Glenn made the post as she shared the comments she made to reporters in Milan, Italy.

"It's been a hard time for the (LGBTQ) community overall in this administration," she said, via USA Today. "It isn’t the first time that we've had to come together as a community and try and fight for our human rights. And now especially, it's not just affecting the queer community, but many other communities, and I think that we are able to support each other in a way that we didn't have to before, and because of that, it's made us a lot stronger."

Glenn added that the issue she was talking about was something she wasn’t going to be quiet about.

She is coming off a gold medal in the U.S. Championships and is among the top stars in the figure skating event in this year’s Games.

Melissa Joan Hart dropped 20 pounds by cutting two things in her ‘longevity journey’

Cutting two simple things from her diet helped Melissa Joan Hart shed nearly 20 pounds, she revealed in a recent interview.

The actress, best known for her roles in "Clarissa Explains It All" and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," lost about 18 pounds after cutting sugar and alcohol as part of what she described as a "longevity journey," she told People earlier this month.

"I just wanted to feel better. It had nothing to do with losing weight," Hart, 49, said at Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler's Grammy viewing party on Feb. 1 in Los Angeles.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT CUSHING’S SYNDROME, WHICH LED TO AMY SCHUMER'S DRAMATIC WEIGHT LOSS

"I really didn't think I could lose weight anymore, being in midlife and perimenopause," she added.

Weight gain during perimenopause and menopause is common, according to the Mayo Clinic, as hormonal changes, aging and lifestyle factors slow metabolism and shift fat toward the belly. But staying active, maintaining a healthy diet, limiting added sugars and alcohol and prioritizing sleep can help minimize weight gain in midlife, experts say.

Hart said her main focus was on improving how she felt, and it has worked.

"I actually feel stronger and better than I have in a really long time," she said.

Hart said it began by working out more intensely and paying closer attention to her lifestyle. In the process, she discovered intermittent fasting and decided to eliminate sugar and alcohol.

She added that giving up alcohol was an easy decision.

"I just don't even enjoy drinking. So why bother?" Hart said. "So I cut these things out of my life, and I started to feel better. And in doing that, I lost a lot of weight and kind of feel great."

Cutting back on added sugar and alcohol can reduce excess calorie intake and lower the risk of weight gain, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, liver damage and certain cancers, while supporting better overall metabolic health, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Hart also shared that staying hydrated has been a challenge for her over the years, joking that her husband, musician Mark Wilkerson, notices her dislike for drinking water.

"My husband says when I drink a glass of water, I make a face like it's the most disgusting thing on earth," she said. "I'm sipping on it, like, 'Eww.'"

Instead, the mom of three said she often reaches for club soda with lime or tea. "I'll do hot tea, cold tea, green tea, peppermint tea — any kind of tea," she said.

Hart, who turns 50 in April, joins other celebrities who have recently credited cutting alcohol and other lifestyle changes for improved health and weight loss, according to reports.

Last year, Russell Crowe said cutting back on alcohol played a major role in his 57-pound transformation, and "Queer Eye" star Jonathan Van Ness has also spoken out about cutting down on booze and focusing on overall health.

Country singer Jelly Roll has credited long-term wellness and mental health support for his dramatic weight loss, while Matt Damon recently said cutting certain foods, including gluten, helped him slim down for film roles.

'Can you shut him up?': Waters and Treasury's Bessent clash over Trump's economic agenda

Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent clashed on Wednesday over President Donald Trump's economic agenda, with the irate congresswoman asking at one point if someone could "shut him up."

The fiery exchange occurred during Bessent's testimony before the House Financial Services Committee. Waters, the committee ranking member, posed a series of questions about the inflationary impact of Trump's tariffs on American consumers — and demanded a yes-or-no answer.

TRUMP’S ECONOMIC WINS ARE REAL — NOW HE NEEDS TO CONVINCE THE COUNTRY

Waters: So I ask you, Secretary Bessent, will you be the voice of reason in this administration and urge President Trump to stop waging a war on American consumers, harming housing affordability, and putting the economy at risk? Yes or no. You don’t have to explain.

Bessent: Representative—

Waters: Will you be the voice of reason? Will you be the voice of reason?

Bessent: A study from Wharton University has shown—

Waters: Reclaiming my time. Reclaiming my time. Mr. Chair, will you let him know when I ask to reclaim my time—

Rep. French Hill, R-Ariz., House Financial Services Committee chairman: The time does belong to the gentlewoman from California.

A COMPLETE TIMELINE OF TRUMP'S TARIFF IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY ACROSS THE GLOBE

Bessent: Ten to twenty million immigrants—

Waters: Can you shut him up?

Bessent: What about the housing stock for working Americans? And can you maintain some level of dignity?

Hill: The gentlewoman’s time has expired.

Waters: No, my time has not expired.

Hill: Your time has expired. The gentleman—

Waters: The gentleman took up my time. I think you should recognize that, Mr. Chair.

Hill: The gentlewoman’s time has expired.

Bessent's testimony comes as the Trump administration awaits a Supreme Court ruling on whether some of the trade duties imposed in 2025 exceeded presidential authority, a decision that could have broad implications for current tariff actions.

Tariffs are taxes levied on imported goods. Although they are paid by companies at the border, the costs are often passed along through higher prices, leaving consumers to bear much of the burden.

What Tyler Robinson's defense wants hidden and why prosecutors and media say no in court

Utah prosecutors and a broad coalition of media organizations are pushing back against attempts by alleged Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson’s defense to shield court filings from public view, arguing there's no justification for the secrecy.

Prosecutors argued that Robinson's defense has failed to both justify secretive filings and to explain how their public release would violate his right to a fair trial in the assassination of the Turning Point USA founder. They wrote that the remedy for the defense's concerns should be part of jury selection, not secret pre-trial filings.

"Given Defendant's inadequate justification for restricting access to his motion, and the existence of these 'reasonable ways to ensure a fair trial' despite pre-trial publicity, Defendant has not rebutted the presumption that the public should have access to his motion," Deputy Utah County Attorney Christopher Ballard wrote to the judge last week.

ACCUSED CHARLIE KIRK ASSASSIN TYLER ROBINSON TRIES TO HIDE FROM ‘DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD’ OF PUBLICITY: EXPERT

For the media group, which includes Fox News along with other national and local outlets, the constitutional arguments largely weigh the First Amendment rights of the public as a whole against Robinson's right to a fair trial.

Lawyers for the media coalition have argued they are being forced to guess what evidence the defense wants excluded, because the underlying motion was filed under seal on Jan. 9. This creates confusion for the public, they warned.

According to defense filings, the public’s right of access is not absolute, while Robinson's right to a fair trial is. They want their 200-page motion to block news cameras to the courtroom classified, arguing that its undisclosed contents could unfairly prejudice the jury pool against their client.

"My take is that the defendant’s efforts to keep things under wraps is doomed," said Royal Oakes, a media attorney and legal analyst who successfully convinced a California judge to televise the OJ Simpson murder trial in the 1990s. "Not every document, snippet of testimony, or fact is automatically open to the public and press simply because it relates to a legal proceeding — but nearly everything is."

WHAT WILL BE TYLER ROBINSON’S DEFENSE STRATEGY? EXPERTS WEIGH IN ON ACCUSED CHARLIE KIRK ASSASSIN

The Supreme Court has found "pretrial publicity, even if pervasive and concentrated, cannot be regarded as leading automatically and in every kind of criminal case to an unfair trial," according to a filing from the prosecution.

"Any paperwork submitted by one of the parties supporting or opposing the sealing of documents, or the closing of court proceedings, or the approval or disapproval of cameras should absolutely be public documents," Oakes told Fox News Digital. "Transparency not only encourages people to do the right thing, it lets the public and the press push back if secrecy is unwarranted."

Robinson's defense has also taken issue with closeup video of his face, which they claimed was abused by "lip readers" to distort courtroom conversations, and is accusing the media of trying to "turn a profit at the expense of allowing this case to proceed as the Constitution requires—both public and fair."

JUDGE PRESIDING OVER TYLER ROBINSON CASE URGED TO REIN IN DEFENSE DELAY TACTICS

"The News Media uses their platforms to, for example, call for Mr. Robinson's death, to have 'body language experts' make irrelevant and entirely unscientific claims about Mr. Robinson's character, and to transmit video worldwide that is in clear violation of the Court's orders," the defense argued.

The media coalition pushed back hard against those claims, arguing the defense is misapplying outdated law. At least one of their arguments relies on a precedent that was effectively overruled, decades ago, by the Supreme Court, according to a filing from media lawyers.

FOLLOW THE FOX TRUE CRIME TEAM ON X

"The seven-to-one reversal of the closure order in Richmond Newspapers, relying entirely upon the First Amendment, represented an extraordinary reevaluation by, and realignment of, the Court on the issue of access," media attorneys wrote. "As a result, 'Gannett was effectively overruled within a year of its release.'"

Robinson is accused of fatally shooting Kirk from a rooftop during a public speaking event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, back in September. According to previously released court filings from the prosecution, Robinson is believed to have spent about a week planning the murder and allegedly confessed to his lover, friends and his family.

A text message exchange that prosecutors allege took place between Robinson and Lance Twiggs, the lover and roommate who is cooperating with investigators contains what appears to be an explicit confession:

"I am, I’m sorry," Robinson allegedly replied.

Defense attorneys have not addressed the alleged exchange or responded to a number of Fox News Digital's requests for comment.

He has not yet entered a plea, and prosecutors have not yet convinced the court of probable cause due to repeated postponements of his preliminary hearing and arraignment.

Robinson could face the death penalty if convicted of the top charge against him, aggravated murder.

Separately, the defense is vying to have prosecutors kicked off the case over a purported conflict of interest. One of the deputy Utah County attorneys on the case had an adult child who was in the crowd at UVU during Kirk's murder.

Prosecutors have denied a conflict. Robinson is due back in court Tuesday afternoon for a continuation of a hearing on the matter. Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray will return to the witness stand.

'Produce Pete,' who taught millions to pick perfect fruits and vegetables, dies at 80

A beloved television personality who spent decades teaching viewers how to pick everything from the perfect pineapple to the juiciest tomatoes, drawing on lessons passed down from his Italian immigrant family, has died, according to reports.

Peter Napolitano, the New York–area TV personality known as "Produce Pete," died Jan. 26 at the age of 80 at a hospital in Paramus, New Jersey, his son confirmed to The New York Times. A cause of death was not specified.

For more than 30 years, Napolitano appeared on WNBC’s "Weekend Today in New York," delivering weekly segments built upon advice he learned from nearly a lifetime spent in the business.

SCIENTISTS DISCOVER ‘SUPERFOOD’ POTENTIAL IN OVERLOOKED VEGETABLE MOST AMERICANS CAN’T PREPARE

Born on Feb. 23, 1945, in Englewood, New Jersey, Napolitano grew up immersed in the produce trade. His father, an Italian immigrant and one of 20 children, started the family business. Napolitano began selling fruits and vegetables door to door with his dad at just 5 years old, according to the Times.

"I come from immigrant people," Napolitano said during a 2025 appearance on the TODAY Show. "My father came here from Italy. No education, no nothing. And then, you know, I got lucky 35 years ago when someone was in my store and put me on a local show."

5 'GRANDMA-STYLE COOKING' RECIPES MAKING A COMEBACK AS AMERICANS DITCH MODERN FOOD TRENDS

By the mid-1950s, the family was selling watermelons out of an empty lot in Bergenfield, New Jersey, before opening Napolitano’s Produce in 1959. Napolitano eventually took over the store in 1970 and ran it for decades, building it into a regional destination for fresh fruits and vegetables.

His television career began in 1989, when he was invited to discuss concerns about contaminated Chilean grapes on a local New York talk show. The appearance led to regular on-air segments and, eventually, his long-running role at WNBC starting in 1992, where he became known simply as "Produce Pete," a moniker he proudly embraced, NBC 4 New York reported.

Napolitano emphasized simple rules for quality produce, advising viewers to choose fruits and vegetables that felt "heavy in the hand" and encouraging shoppers to embrace oddly shaped items, which he often said packed the most flavor. He told viewers to look for a deep golden color in pineapples as a sign of ripeness and taught them to lift pumpkins from the bottom, so the stems wouldn’t break.

Napolitano’s popularity extended well beyond local television. He was parodied on "The Daily Show," praised by comedian Tina Fey — who once told him, "You’re my BeyoncĂ©" — and even recognized by actor Harrison Ford, according to the Times.

He also wrote several books, including "Produce Pete’s Farmacopeia," a guide to choosing and preparing fruits and vegetables, and an autobiography published in 2023.

Napolitano retired from running the family store in the late 1990s but continued working in the produce industry as a broker and buyer while maintaining his television presence.

NBC 4 New York remembered Napolitano as a beloved member of its station family, highlighting not just his practical advice but also the personal stories he shared about his upbringing and family.

Napolitano is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Bette" Napolitano, two children, seven grandchildren and several siblings, according to reports.

He famously signed off his segments with a message that also sums up his legacy: "If you eat right, you’re going to live right."
